Looks like Meek Mill is heading to jail. The rapper was sentenced to 3-6 months in jail for parole violation stemming from his 2008 drug and gun conviction, a new report claims.

Meek Mill, 27, will be spending 3 to 6 months behind bars for parole violation, a new report says. After appearing in Philadelphia court on July 11, a judge sentenced Meek after believing he had violated his parole from a 2008 drug and gun conviction.

Meek Mill: Rapper Sentenced To 3-6 Months In Jail For Parole Violation

Rapper Meek Mill is heading back to jail. The 27-year-old was sentenced to 3-6 months in jail for violating his parole from a previous conviction, according to TMZ.

Meek was on probation from a 2008 drug and gun conviction. He was sentenced 11 to 23 months in prison in 2008, but only served eight months. He began five years probation in 2009.

Prosecutors became concerned about recent incidents with Meek, especially Meek posting a picture of himself holding a gun recently, Philadelphia’s FOX 29 reports. Meek was scheduling concerts without getting approval and he changed his cell phonenumber, which alarmed prosecutors, TMZreports. The rapper is reportedly in custody.

People in Meek’s camp believe the District Attorney has a vendetta against Meek and wanted to hurt him since he has a new album coming out in September, sources told TMZ.

The “Ima Boss” rapper pleaded with the Philadelphia judge not to put him in jail, the outlet says. “The will be extremely damaging to my life,” the rapper reportedly said in court.

HollywoodLifers, what do you think about Meek’s return to jail? Was he unfairly sentenced? Will her really serve 3 to 6 months? Let us know!
